In Lupinus Luteus accumulation of cadnium can occur because of the root architecture of this lupin variaty. This does not happen in Lupinus Angustifolius. Minerals Typical Calcium content in lupin 1,5-2,2 g/kg, higher than in pea and lower in comparison with soya. The Phosphorus content in lupin is 3,0-5,1 g/kg, which is equal with pea and lower than in soya. Magnesium content (1,4-2,1 g/kg) is similar to pea and soya and potassium (8,1-9,8 g/kg) is similar to peas but much lower than in soya bean meal.
