84 The technical and financial aspects of Nutri-hof were worked out in broad outline. The technical elaboration assumes the following starting points: • A concept that is already profitable on a small scale, compatible with current agricultural practices, and reproducible. certification systems for sustainable aquaculture (‘Maatlat Duurzame Aquacultuur’) and sustainable fruit and vegetables (‘Barometer Duurzame Groenten en Fruit’). • A sustainable (triple-P) concept, based insofar as possible on European regulations for organic production as well as the Dutch • A concept that is technically and commercially easy to implement. • Not labour-intensive. The rough financial forecast shows that Nutri-hof can already be profitable on a small scale, even with a fish density of 20 kg/m³ (maximum fish density for organic fish production). Alongside the internal integration between fish farming, macro-/ microphytes cultivation and worm cultivation, other integration opportunities are also discussed such as: 1. Integration with (co-)digestion installations. 2. Integration with recreational angling. 3. Integration with urban/neighbourhood farms.
