Finally, we would like to add a few suggestions that we consider to be vital when choosing locations for the pilots and for the actual content and follow-up of the pilots: • Include one large rural municipality in the choice of pilot locations. • Make finding structural solutions for the maintenance and management side the key goal of the pilot. • Be receptive to divergent local input from residents and social organizations. • Focus on both social and economic yields. Involvement of private parties can provide the continuity needed for the maintenance and management side. • Make conscious decisions focusing on specific goals; this will prevent too many local parties from wanting to have their say.
